There are days when you move through life almost unnoticed —
then there are days when Heaven leans in so close, you feel it breathing on your skin.
Today, Sunday 27 April 2025 was one of those days for me.
It began so simply —
worship music flowing softly through my home, filling every corner with whispers of praise.
A quiet, reflective Sunday with family.
A day meant for Spirit.
In the early evening, something miraculous happened.
While I was in the kitchen with my daughter and grandson, we noticed a moth —
not outside in the garden where it should have been,
but inside our home, resting peacefully on the kitchen cupboard.
We admired it in awe —
a delicate, sacred visitor.
I whispered a quiet prayer of thanks right there in the kitchen, sensing that this moment was no accident.
We watched it together, marveling at its stillness and beauty.
When I gently tried to guide it back toward the outdoors —
it fluttered past me, soaring not out the door, but through my lounge and into my home office.
There, it settled on the floor, calm and unafraid — as if even this moth knew it was sent for something more.
Time passed.
I forgot about it.
Life carried on.
Until…
Hours later, as I sat quietly in my bedroom, worship music still playing,
watching the story of Elijah —
the butterfly reappeared…in my bedroom.
This time, it perched high on the wall above my headboard,
directly above me, slightly to the right side —
as if marking a sacred, invisible blessing over my rest, my prayers, my very being.
I knelt down in awe and gratitude.
Tears filled my eyes as I realized the weight of this visitation.
This was no ordinary moth.
This was Spirit speaking.
As I knelt in prayer, I noticed more:
The wings carried patterns that looked like eyes — the symbol of divine watching and protection.
There was a shimmering golden V across its body — the mark of Victory.
Above the “eyes” were golden markings — heavenly signatures, blessings written into its very being.
It stayed.
It watched.
It covered me in the sacred stillness and awe only Heaven can bring.
Later, I learned that this sacred visitor wasn’t just any moth —
it is an Owl Moth, named for the striking eye-like patterns on its wings.
Known as a symbol of divine watchfulness and hidden wisdom, the owl moth often appears when spiritual guidance is near.
It made perfect sense.
This was no random encounter.
This was a holy visitation, wrapped in wings and wonder.
🕊️ What I Heard in My Spirit:
“You are seen.
You are protected.
You are victorious.
Stay in My stillness, and you will always find Me there.”
🌿 Reflections from This Holy Encounter:
Sometimes God speaks not through earthquakes or thunder, but through the silent wings of a butterfly.
Stillness isn’t empty — it’s FULL of God’s whispers.
When we create an atmosphere of worship, Heaven has no choice but to draw near.
Signs, wonders, and miracles are still alive — and they often come when we least expect them, but need them most.
🌟 If you’re reading this today, this is your reminder:
Spirit is closer than your next breath.
Heaven is not distant.
Heaven is happening right now, all around you.
Pause.
Look.
Listen.
You, too, are being watched over by unseen wings.
You, too, are marked for victory.
🌸 Sacred Scriptures to Reflect On:
🕊️ “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” (Psalm 91:4)
🕊️ “Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” (1 Samuel 3:10)
💚 Forever grateful, forever watching for the whispers of Heaven.
