🌿Post #2. How MoneyTribe21 and My Mentors Helped Me Turn Struggle Into Success

Even in the depths of my despair, when it felt like I was clinging to nothing but air, something within me refused to let go completely.

A whisper. A flicker. A fragile, persistent nudge that would eventually lead me to a turning point, the discovery of the MoneyTribe21 Mentorship Program, a Spirit-led community that helped me rebuild my faith, mindset, and entrepreneurial purpose.

✝️ Reaching for God’s Mighty Hand
2021 wasn’t the first time I reached out for God’s help. It wasn’t the second or even the third.
I had started this journey many times before, but overwhelm, confusion, and the exhausting belief that I had to do everything on my own often pulled me away before I could walk the path fully.

Looking back, I now see how crucial it is to have help along the way, not just companionship, but true direction: Spirit-led guidance and a solid support system.

The company we keep matters. The voices we allow into our hearts matter. The books we read, the conversations we entertain, the content we consume—all of it quietly shapes our path.

When our environment aligns with our desire for growth—spiritual, emotional, or otherwise—the journey becomes clearer, steadier, lighter.

Guidance can arrive in many forms: through a mentor, a conversation, a community, or even a book placed in our hands at exactly the right moment.

In the end, no matter how the signs appear, we must still seek God for ourselves.
As Matthew 6:33 reminds us, “Seek ye first the Kingdom…” And when we seek Him truly, intentionally, wholeheartedly, He always appears—because He is always close, as near as the air we breathe.

If you’re ready to surround yourself with growth, guidance, and faith-filled mentorship, maybe this is your next step too.

⏳ In Divine Timing — God Answers
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3

2021 marked a turning point. That October, I began to pray in earnest—small, trembling prayers at first. By January 2022, those prayers deepened, becoming raw and urgent.

I was wrestling with a dark, negative influence in my life, something determined to pull me further into despair.
It wasn’t a quick battle. It took months of persistent prayer, tears, and stubborn faith before that heaviness finally lifted.

When it did, I experienced what I can only describe as a miracle.
The Master began to appear, not in loud, dramatic ways, but through a deep, quiet peace. Strength returned. Clarity returned. I felt capable again.

Then came one of the clearest divine interventions: discovering Justin Harrison and Dawie Bester, and their soon-to-launch mentorship program, MoneyTribe21 – Spirit-led mentorship and entrepreneurial growth.
I clung to the promise of that course, eagerly awaiting its launch in July 2023. It felt like a bridge God had laid across the chasm where I’d been stuck for too long.

While I waited, I turned inward, healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I placed my trust fully in God, letting Him lead one silent day, one whisper, one nudge at a time.

And as I waited, gentle gifts arrived: gospel songs that carried me, pastors whose words fell like rain on dry ground, books and devotionals that spoke to wounds I hadn’t yet named.

Every piece was perfectly timed. Every resource, a stepping stone. Every whisper, a reminder that I was never walking alone.

Healing rarely looks the way we imagine. Sometimes it comes wrapped in hymns, strangers’ voices, quiet courses, and the sacred slowness of waiting.

âš“ The MoneyTribe21: My Anchor in the Storm
When the program opened, I was at breaking point, sick from stress, stretched thin by reduced income, and still absorbing the financial tremors left by COVID. Supporting my family felt impossible, yet something in me refused to quit.

I had taken out a significant loan to keep my tavern business alive, a business I’d soon have to close after a string of devastating events. The worst came one afternoon when four armed men stormed in during broad daylight and cleaned us out. They left us shaken, terrified, and stripped of almost everything.

The impact wasn’t just financial; it went deeper — into my emotions, my spirit, and my health. Bills stacked up, pressure mounted, and eventually my body buckled under the strain.

That moment — the robbery — haunted me. The bitterness, the anger, the sleepless nights replayed every detail endlessly, each night, each day, each moment. We were held at gunpoint; I had believed we were divinely protected. The audacity, the betrayal cut so deep.

My fear blurred into paranoia, constantly looking over my shoulder, unable to silence the noise in my mind. Then it hit me: something inside had to shift before anything outside could change.

When my health began to fail, I wasn’t surprised — but I wasn’t abandoned either. A quiet presence steadied me, nudging me to stay curious, hold my faith, and trust that one day I’d look back and see how far grace had carried me. I had every reason to give up, yet even in the wreckage I sensed the faint pulse of a bigger story being written.

The MoneyTribe21 community became one of the instruments God used to steady me. Through their mentorship, teachings, and unwavering commitment to uplifting others, I found lessons that anchored me physically, mentally, and spiritually even as everything else felt like it was slipping away.
